SUNDAY SCHOOL Promotion.

When the time comes to promote your Sunday School classes, you need to start with your highest grade.

To promote Sunday Schools you need to have a group for each Sunday School.
Open the Highest Sunday School group/grade you have. (Example: College & Career)
Once the group is open, untag anyone who is not advancing to the next level.
Click on Options.
Select Globally Change Fields
Step 1 - “Select the field to be changed”. Select - Sunday School.
Step 2 - “Choose Action”. Select - Remove item.
Step 3 - “Enter the item for the change”. (College & Career)
Step 4 – “Add the change to the list”. Click Add.
Go back to Step 1 - “Select the field to be changed”. Select - Sunday School.
Step 2 - “Choose Action”. Select - Add item.
Step 3 - “Enter the item for the change”. (Adult Religious Education)
Step 4 – “Add the change to the list”. Click Add.
Click on Apply Changes.
Click Yes on the warning pop up window as long as you are sure you have the correct individual tagged.
A window then pops up telling you how many records have been changed and will ask “Do you want to refresh the group?” Click Yes.
Your College & Career group when refreshed should be blank except for anyone who did not advance. This is correct. Once you have done the global change to bring the High School group up to the College & Career Sunday School group it will once again have members.

Go now to your next highest group (Example: High School or 12th Grade Sunday School). Follow the steps above to globally change this group up to the College & Career Sunday School group.

Continue to do so until you have advanced / promoted all Sunday School groups.
