Our church got a new computer, which runs Vista. I have installed the program (after getting the correct version to run on Vista) and installed it in the root directory (c:\). I then copied the backup data off the cd it was on to the root directory. Then, I entered the admid program and attempted to reload the backup data into the program. I made sure the program was pointing to the correct place. However, the program found the data, but it told me it could not unzip the files and then hung up. What do I do here? (And yes, the data is good as I used to my XP laptop to test it and it worked fine.)
In order to restore a backup from the hard drive (C), you must put the backup file in a folder first. This is a Vista thing not Servant Keeper. You can name the folder anything you like such as "backups" or "skbackups". Then when you restore the backup path should read C:\backups\skbackup.zip.
