Our church is hosting a VBS program, and traditionally we have passed out to all crew leaders an information sheet on the children that they will be leading for the week, which includes things such as names, allergies, emergency information, phone numbers, age, etc. We recently changed our database system to Servant Keeper 6, and I'm unsure how to make a template in SK Writer that will allow me to do this. I have attempted to use the Merge function, as we have all the information, but when I do it, the header on the SK Writer sheet copies over for each child, so that each child has an individual header that indicates which crew he or she is in. As the crew leader knows rather well which crew they're in, this is a waste of space and ink. Should I drop the header and cut my losses, or is there a way to do everything that I want so that some parts of the SK Writer document are only shown once, rather than copied for every element that is merged?

In case this is tl;dr, here's a summary.

How does one merge a group with an SK Writer document so that an element of the SK Writer document isn't copied for every single person in the group? I want a header, but I don't want a header for every child. Is this possible with Servant Keeper 6?

If this is the wrong place to post, I'm sorry. Tech support's off for the weekend, so I'm asking the board.

In SK Writer, there is an option when inserting a Header to insert it for all pages, odd pages, even pages, etc.. This would be the only other option other than removing the Header all together.
